Senior Associate Consultant

Jane is a management and marketing specialist whose career in higher education sector has spanned twenty-five years. Her extensive experience in the sector has included positions as International Liaison Officer at the University of Warwick, which included missions overseas, plus the directorship of the Warwick Business School Distance Learning MBA programme. As Director of the DL MBA, she was responsible for the strategic marketing, development and operation of the programme. Key markets included Singapore, Hong Kong and Sweden. Jane managed overseas collaborative partnerships plus negotiation and liaison with corporate clients for the development and delivery of tailored training courses. She managed the financial performance of the programme, recommending policy on fee levels for both student-related income and academic and other services.

Her strategic consulting projects have encompassed support to the British Council. As part of the Prime Minister’s Initiative, Jane has contributed to the development of a range of on-line and print based staff development resources to encourage and support the effective use of overseas education agents and representatives. The project brief included the assessment of the commercial potential of the management and implementation of staff development seminars for UK education providers.

Jane has advised universities about future market potential and senior management teams about the potential and implications of organisational restructure.

Jane holds a BA from Coventry University and received her MBA from the Warwick Business School.
